Recycling centers that accept: Mold and Mildew Stain Removers
Mold and mildew stain removers contain harmful chemicals and cannot be recycled. They should not be poured down outside drains or on the ground as it can cause contamination.
Reduce moisture in the air, causing mold to grow by opening a window, using a fan, or using a dehumidifier.
If you cannot use up the mold remover yourself, try giving to to a friend, neighbor, or custodial staff.
Mold removers may be slowly poured down the drain with large amounts of additional water. Solidified disinfectants or aerosol cans may be disposed of in your household garbage.
The empty container should be triple rinsed and recycled. See the “plastic bottles” or “aerosol cans” locations.
