Press Release: Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful Nominated for IMPACT Regional Business Awards

Winners of Prestigious Gwinnett Chamber Award Will Be Announced May 16 at Infinite Energy Forum

Lawrenceville, Georgia, March 29, 2018 – Recognized as a leading nonprofit organization in Gwinnett County, Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful has been nominated for an IMPACT Regional Business Award.  Designed to be reflective and unique to Gwinnett and across metro Atlanta, the program pays tribute to premier organizations in top industries that are driving economic development and job creation, while enhancing our quality of life.

“When people think of Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful, they may associate our organization more with quality of life and less with economic development, but – in truth – our mission is closely tied to both,” explained Schelly Marlatt, executive director of Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful. “More and more businesses today are looking to locate, relocate or expand to areas that embrace sustainable practices just as they do. Recipients of the IMPACT Regional Business Awards will be selected in the following sectors:

An overall IMPACT Regional Business Awards recipient will be selected from one of the above category winners.
