Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful will Host Event at Infinite Energy Center October 10
Lawrenceville, Ga. – October 3, 2019 – Having been sworn in as the 83rd Governor of the great State of Georgia on January 14, 2019, Governor Brian Kemp is about to take part in another historic event shared by several Georgia governors who have preceded him. On October 10, Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful will play host to Georgia’s honorable Governor Kemp and more than 1,000 community and business leaders from across the state at the eco-focused nonprofit’s 13th Environmental Address. The event will be held from 11:15 AM – 1:00 PM in the Ballroom at the Infinite Energy Center and tickets to attend the Address – which includes a catered lunch, speech from the Governor and an awards ceremony – are available for purchase on the Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful website.
Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful presented its first Environmental Address in 2000, featuring a stirring speech by then Governor Roy Barnes. Former Governor Sonny Perdue has also shared his views on the environment at the Address, and Former Governor Nathan Deal appeared before the Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful podium on five different occasions. At this year’s Environmental Address, Governor Brian Kemp is expected to express his views on the economic and environmental hot topics happening throughout the state today. In addition to the Governor’s speech, a number of individuals, companies and organizations will be recognized with Environmental Consciousness and Stewardship (ECoS) Awards.

This year, we are so excited to welcome Governor Brian Kemp and hear his perspective on the state of the environment in Georgia. What many people don’t realize is that the economy and environment are closely tied together. It’s important for people to partner with organizations like Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful or our friends at Keep Hall Beautiful, Keep Forsyth Beautiful and other Keep America Beautiful affiliates throughout Georgia.
