After weeks spent shopping for gifts, stuffing holiday cards into envelopes, wrapping packages, decorating your home, delivering goodies to friends and loved ones, and happily hosting house guests, Christmas 2013 has officially come and gone. So… now what? As we spend the next few days plotting our New Years Eve fashions and plans, many will begin the annual task of removing Christmas lights and decorations from their homes. For those of you who opted for a real tree this holiday season, rather than haul it out to the curb for the garbage men to transfer to a local landfill – why not drop it off at one of the following locations throughout Gwinnett County? By the end of Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful’s 30^th Annual Christmas Tree Recycling Event, all of the collected trees will be converted into mulch for use in landscape projects throughout our big and beautiful community. Each year, we recycle more Christmas trees than any other community in the state. This year, YOU can help us maintain that distinguished honor.

Gwinnett residents are encouraged to drop their live Christmas trees 24 hours a day to any of the following fire stations from December 26, 2013 to January 17, 2014. Please be sure to remove all decorations, lights and tree stands. We’re sorry, but we are unable to accept artificial or flocked trees.
